Novice/NovicePLUS: 10:15am to 11:15am
12 weeks of hockey for fun
Our Box Pond Hockey Program will be a 3 on 3 cross ice format with teams made up of 6 to 8 players per team skating 3 on 3. Each morning Teams will play two games each morning.

Instead of goalies, we use customized mini-nets like they do at some of the tournaments in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Registration will be individually and teams will be formed by the Winterland Coaching staff

All games will be held at Kirkwood Ice Rink.
We skip a few Sundays, for example - Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Memorial Day weekend and Father's Day.

Last session will be played with Goalies

This is a Two Pass Policy Program:
Winterland has implemented the "Two Pass" policy in all programs with the intent to improve team play, passing skills, get more exercise, and improvement playing two way hockey. Basically, once the offensive team enters the offensive zone( we will call it crossing the center red line) they need to make 2 passes before shooting on net. Everyone is expected to play two way hockey. We want all of our skaters to become team players and two way players.
