2022 JR. Blues Learn to Play
for 9 to 15 year olds
The JR. Blues Learn to Play program is a 12 week Co-Ed program that is designed to introduce first time players, ages 9-15, to the great game of Ice Hockey. The program will begin on April 23, 2022 and will conclude on July 17th. There will be no ice practice on June 18 but we will have a classroom session. The program is held at the Webster Grove Ice Rink,
In order to participate in this program, each player must wear full equipment during each of the practices. The equipment they should have is:
If your child doesn’t have all of this equipment, it will need to be purchased before the first practice. We suggest purchasing used equipment at Play It Again Sports in Arnold.

First Day as a goalie, April 22, 2017
Will started playing hockey in the JR. Blues Learn to Play for 9 to 15 year olds in 2017 when he was 11 years old. He was the first JR. Blues Learn to Play skater to try being a goalie and he fell in love with it. So much so, that after 4 years of hard work, Will is now a Goalie for the St. Louis Car Shield AAA hockey team. It just goes to prove that with passion and hard work anyone can reach their goals.
